SpiderHeck - 0.62 Mustaches, Blades & Performance

The update 0.62 Mustaches, Blades & Performance is out

MAPS

  • Added a new zero gravity map
  • One of the existing maps is gone as it graduates to "Final release ready" status
  • Reworked Cogs map
  • Spinning platforms spin a little less
  • Lots of adjustments on existing maps based on your feedback

SPIDERS

  • Charge attack is now slightly faster and can be done without holding the blade
  • Charge attack no longer clips through objects
  • Deflecting a hit with a particle blade now detaches your web
  • Spiders mustaches

WASPS, WAVES, AND CLOUDS

  • Wave mode re-balanced now runs endlessly doubling the number of enemies on the second go-around
  • Wave mode capped at 3 lives max
  • Fixed a bug where wasps spin out of control after getting hit
  • Wasps are more susceptible to knock-backs
  • Slightly altered wasp attack behavior (very much work in progress)
  • Death cloud now moves slower and only kills if you stand in it for a while

MISC

  • Optimized spiders, the game should run noticeably better now
  • Audio no longer keeps playing on the pause menu
  • Added a setting to toggle Web mouse aim for keyboard players
  • Characters should die less from impacting a wall
